And...ummm....are there any treats(like lettuce) you can give your snail...of any speices. What live plants do snails like? Umm...tell me about live plants in their tank. i've never had a pet with a live plant so I wouldn't know.

Hiya,
You can keep different types of snail together but some species will interbreed....like spixis with marisas and canas with insularums.
I keep my brigs with nerites and ramshorns and they all get along fine. My cana (the guy in my avatar who sadly passed on) lived with brigs and spixis and was happy enough.
I have heard a couple of incidents where cana babies ate brigs/brig babies but since I never bred my cana I couldn't say.
If you're going to feed lettuce avoid iceberg as this has little to zero nutrition....romaine is much nicer for them. They also like cooked veggies like green beans, sugarsnap peas, garden peas (peeled), sweetcorn (peeled), kale etc. They also like bloodworms/bloodworm pellets/tetra delica bloodworms, daphnia, brine shrimp, algae wafers, fish flake, turtle food, floating pellets.
I keep java ferns, java moss, riccia, duckweed, two kinds of salvinia, moss balls and elodea densa in with my brigs/ramshorns/nerites. I keep moss balls, java moss and riccia in with my spixis.
