Are you successfully breeding the CRS? If so how many generations do you have?
I also have some CRS that are too small to breed atm but they are also in harder water than suggested on petshrimp......let me know how yours get on.

What's a CRS? Someone gave me an excellent idea for the shrimp by the way! I could start with ghost shrimp, and see how they do, sense they are so readily available and usualy sold for purposes beyond pets. If Hamish behaves himself, then I could think about cherry shrimp for example. But if there's a problem, well, that will tell me pretty quick and I can hopefuly remove the ghostie before there's trouble.

mine bred a bit but i think most of the babies end up shreded in the filter, but ive not taken much care over them recently so dunno how many are there or anything

cool, its worth a try. where do you get them from though? Ghost Shrimp are fairly common last I checked, ive seen them sold as food as well. Im sure it won't be a problem finding some, I will have to source when I am in Scotland.
