A rescue in Ellesmere Port is potentially closing down and has GALS needing homes. I've offered to take 10-20 and rehome them from here when they've recovered (doesn't sound like they've had the best care as apparently some are dead), but the rescue doesn't want to post them to me. However they have said someone could pick them up for me and get them to me however (post).
I need to find out more details, but in the meantime if anyone thinks they can help, please email me.
Thanks
Kathy

Oh, I'm nowhere near any of you, but want to wish you good luck with this!
I hope the GALS make it to your house, Kathy, by whatever means necessary.

Are these from that rodent palace rescue cos if they are i was going to try to get up there to adopt a couple of hamsters that couldn't be rehomed but couldn't get last weekend as one of my dogs was poorly and i we didn't want to leave her.
I am going to try and get up there asap but if there in a bad way maybe it will be too late. Why are they dying?

I think basically because they don't know how to look after them tbh. It's prolly best if we talk privately.

These GALS are now safely in the hands of Ruth the Almighty (she really is God after today - and it's not just GALS she's sorted), and some will be winging it my way for rehoming. A HUGE thank you to Ruth for all her hard work today - but if someone sees her, make sure they grab the little Spiny Mouse for me (I'm very jealous indeed).
