i have just took 3 sacks out of my 26 gallon tank, one was yesterday and 2 today and another is still in there as it hadn't dried enough for me to remove it the ones i got out are in a plastic lid floating in my breeding trap like i did with my first lot (which have made this lot lol) so these will be living with my shell dwellers so im guessing a pH of ~8 is good for them along with coral gravel as the substrate makeing the calcium levels higher etc

Yeah, a week or 2 to hatch, but I'd say more like 2 months to hit 1 cm. Of course, some will grow slower/faster than others, but that's the average, IME.

yep 8 about 1 1/2 to 2" long
im gonna try, they will be split, first 2 or 3 sacs to hatch in the lid that floating in my multi tank will go in there (70L) the rest are going into the community (120L) with the adult snails

yea all brigs, i had 11 yesterday bought a 18"x12"x12" tank today just to chuck most in, ive got a fighter in there though so ill keep an eye on him. i have 2 sponge filters on the tank, each rated for a 10 gallon tank, and ill get a heater on tuesday, or do you think i would get aweay without one as ive kept them without a heater in winter before (original 5) and they did fine

If the house temps are above 70F they should be fine.
Put one of the sponge filters into one of the other tanks, to "seed" it, so that when you get babies, you'll have a cycled filter ready for them. Babies are very sensitive to uncycled tanks and the ammonia/nitrites that come with "new" tanks.

I'm pretty new to keeping apple snails to be honest. I've been keeping some of my brigs in an unheated tank and a couple of them since January. All are still fine. The weather has been so warm lately and I'm sure that helps the hatching process even without a heater. Good luck. Hope to see pictures of the babies soon ;D

dont worry the sponge filters were in my multi tank for a month with a bit of mature sponge wedge in them and then the last week in my community tank so they are well seeded
