Pretty. I have a shell of one of those. I was hoping it was alive 'cause Lfs said I could just take it lol Sadly it wasn't but it's a pretty feature in my vase tank Cute shrimp!

Thanks Sian.
Sadly one of the nerites was dead.....I chose it because of the straight stripes compared to zig zaggy but he was just sitting on the gravel in the shop.....the other 3 were climbing around the glass. He never came out of his shell in the bag either, or the breeding trap.....I smelt him and found out he was a goner.
Rocky is great and soooo tiny....he's smaller than my pygmy corys. ;D

I feel like a right prat......the tiger shrimp needs a low PH.....and i'm talking low....like 6.2 and I have him in one of my tanks which has a PH of 7.6. Weirdly enough I tested one of my tanks that has a sand bottom and the PH is between 6.2 and 6.5.....that would explain some of the spire tips on a few spixis......I haven't had any functioning testers for a couple of months (I know, bad critter mummy). So now I have to fish the little fella out (he's so small he's hard to find in my big planted tank) and careful acclimatize him to my sand bottomed tank. I saw him swimming about last and he jerked.....so I knew something wasn't right. I feel like an idiot....I usually research everything I buy but my lfs never has anything special in stock and he was the last one until they get more in....I hope the little fella will be ok til i can spot him. On an up note those nerites are mad algae blasting machines....I have a fluval 4+ and the outlet tube was disgustingly green with algae (I had scrubbed it but it wouldn't budge....this morning it's clean as if it was new. Here's another piccy Janet
