Well, I had a really cool day today. My Mum picked me up and we went into Kingston to shop and have a curry (can't get a curry in Bellevegas, unless we DIY!) We hit some computer stores, a beauty supply I rarely get to anymore, a curling supplies store, Home Sense (what a neat place!) and Costco. We managed to hit a PetSmart (there's none here) and while they didn't have too many cool fishies, they had some awesome BNs, and I think one of them was a Medusa...but at $29.99 each, there was NO WAY! Mum was totally captivated by the snakeskin gups, and of course, I had to check the Bettas. They actually had Crowntails! She bought me one, and here he is, in his new temporary home. Poor thing isn't used to even a gallon of space! He's one spunky idiot, though.......

Oh, and she named him after I sent pictures.
Rather than Flayme or Phyre, his name is Bernie. Cute, huh?

Very nice ..... never seen one of them before.
Our vicky spotted a nice fish in with some goldfish at aquarium shop in blackpool this week , she says it looked like one of those fish that blow up and it had like a snail face so me and Linda are going to try and get over there next week to see what it is exactly.

Nice beautiful fish. ;D Both my Bettas have not got such fins. Wish the Petsmart where I live have such lovely pretty fishes. PS We don't have nice fishes often in Petsmart. I am living in between 2 towns, so I have to be careful which Petsmart I go to if I want some fishes there because of the water. I know this is strange but if I buy the fishes from one of the Petsmart, it usually dies within 24 hours, but if I buy from the other Petsmart, it always lives. And it's def not nice to take the dead body to the other Petsmart to get it exchange. I am after one of the big goldfish in there, which is about 5" at least in length and it is a fatty. It costs just over £50.00, so there is a bit much for a goldfish even it's a Ryukin (sp?).
