We appear to have Lemon Yellow and also some form of striped Cana's in stock now ... these are about a month old now and have grown nicely , I'm estimating approximately 2 weeks until they are ready to ship out.
Pictures will be up soon of these snails , I'll be wanting £1.25 each for them.
Things to note about Cana's :-
They grow considerably bigger than Brigs.
They will eat live plants
Cana egg clucthes are huge and can quite easily produce 600 babies per clutch , be warned lol.
They poop a lot , so tank maintanance is even more vital than with brigs ... you may go from vacuming once a week to twice a week ...
Cana's have huge appetites
Cana's usually live for around 3 years in captivity .. don't take that as gospel though .. they may live shorter or longer.
With all that said they are characters , very sweet and at £1.25 each it's a small cost for something thats going to last longer than a hamster LMAO ...
If you want to reserve any just let me know , as I say pics will be up soon on the livestock page.
Cheers
Darren

These are so different to brigs they may look alike but they are so cheeky and a lot more inteligent..we are not so sure that the briggs know we are there but this lot does..last night Daz was doing a water change and they scurried to the top of the tank with their feet out to catch food in it..I felt realy sorry for them as he was only putting clean water in so we dropped them some shrimp pellets in and they grabbed them sat on their little bums and held their feet like arms it was brill..we also made a dish of veg up for them and took them out to sit them in the dish..before we put them back into the tank they all grabbed a green bean before they went back..Linda Pics coming later

I just got some HUGE canas sent to me from California......they travelled well, opened right up and started begging for food!
Oh, their faces are sooooo cute! Can't wait til they've settled a little and I can start handing them. They weigh a tonne!
Linda, you're right about the interactiveness of them. They certainly are more aware than my Brigs.
I got 2 "wilds" 3 "golds" 2 "copper" (these are stunning!) and some extras in the form of a blue, olive, gold, and dsp brig!

Linda, what Daz did sounds just like what I'd do! Yeah, I'm silly that way...just can't resist a cute face begging for food (ask the cats here ) Hmmm, These canas I was sent range from Marble sized, to 2 large "wilds" that are the size of a smallish orange. As to their faces, I don't think they're all that different to Brigs, just that they are so much bigger you can see them better!

I have quite a few canas that are tennis ball size but heard that they can get as large as saucers. They are my favorite snail, I have gold, carmel and the striped ones. Also have the Salton sea species.

Darren, the SS "canas" are really neat. Sandiegofishes over at applesnail posted a bunch of pics a while back. I"ll see if I can find them, or you might want to search over there for Salton Sea under Sandiegofishes.
She also sells as woodle on aquabid.
Emma, you talking to me or Ruby? Bright red to me would be a European Red Ramshorn (a planorbid). Some of the caramel snails can look "reddish" too.
