Emma, I've just done a search over at applesnail for the pics Barb/Woodle/sandiegofishes posted of them when she first collected them. There's still a little algae, but you can see that they are NOT like normal Canas.....there seems to be something really different about the shell. We're not sure just how it happened, whether its from the water they were in, or their diet in the wild...but feast your eyes on these "babies" And a closeup of one of their faces. Note the radioactive orange spotting on the face!

wow those are pretty cool. one almost has a lilacy pink hue to it! their gourgeous! ur so lucky to get their babies!! i want some!
