Paul, I was thinking the first week in June after the Bank Holiday if that is O.K. I'm just not ready to receive the little darlings yet - still waiting on my heat mat though I should have that this week. Perhaps you can let me know if that is O.k. with you. I would like 2 and I would prefer guaranteed next day delivery. + the paypal charge so I think that makes it £9 which I will send whenever you want.

No problems at all. You can pay me whenever you wish. £9 is correct if you're paying via PayPal. Email me at paul@petsnails.co.uk with your address. Seeing as they are your first snails, I was gonna say I'd chuck in a couple extra but I am now thinking this is unwise. You'll get the bug and want more species and then wish you didn't have so many of one type, lol. But if you did want a couple extra, then you're welcome to them. Newbie privilege thanks paul

Paul that is very sweet of you, but seeing as they are not exactly small snails I think spacewise I had better stick to two. But thank you anyway.

no problems at all, it looks like that'll be when I am sending them anyway I would think by the time everything is organised. But I thought I'd give you all fair warning.

Is there any chance you could make an afternoon during the week? Weekends are busy for me at the moment and I can make my hours up elsewhere.

Hi Paul, Perhaps you could confirm that you received my paypal payment - I'm sure you did but it's good to have it confirmed. I shall be busy over the bank holiday preparing for my new 'babies' I have sorted out a larger tank for them this one is 2' x 1' x 15" deep, I hope they don't get lost ;D It will be quite close to a radiator so they should be warm enough.

Hi Val,
I just checked and I have got the payment, I didn't get an email from PayPal which odd otherwise I'd have let you know. Thank you very much.
The new tank sounds great, they'll have loads of space. It sounds very similar to the tank I plan to use for my dimidiata of which they'll be 4-6 so they have a mansion! It means you can go to town with decoration like plantpots, water dish etc and they'll still have loads of space.
Let me know when you are ready for them and what day you want them sending and I'll do my best to send it on your chosen day.
I'm excited for you!
thanks paul

I'm just thinking that it may be better to keep them in your smaller tank for now. When I received my 1st babies I put them in a huge tank and it was a task finding them, I kept panicking that I'd lost some. In a smaller tank, that isn't likely to happen. It's less effort to maintain and you'll not have to recycle as much soil or clean as much tank. Plus, its quicker to spot and remove faeces. They'll still have a huge tank in comparison to their size and I find that very small babies stick close to the food anyway . Just move to the new one when they're bigger. Just an idea... paul

Hey Paul, Great minds think alike they say........... in fact today I was looking at the smaller tank and thinking just what you have said, that they would be easier to see etc., so that is the one I am getting ready. Incidentally, how fast do they grow? Is their growth rate linked to warmth as it is with aquatic snails. Val
