What are your baby tigers eating? I've heard that these can be a bit more tricky to feed. Have you tried them on some of your porridge?

Glad to hear it! That's why I wanted to get them out to everyone, you can care for a handful of snails so much better than a tank full. It's easier for you to make sure who's eating and who's not. I've been waking them up and digging them out everyday but its hard keeping tracking of who's who and how they're doing individually.

It must take a time digging around for them as well! 90 of them! Im keeping mine in this clear plastic cookie box at the moment. I didnt wanna put them in a big tank yet as they are so tiny. it makes it much easier for me to keep a close eye on them! I have been checking them like 3 or 4 times a day, maybe its a little obsessive, but u have to make sure the little snails are eating dont u!? ;D Paul how do u get them their calcium? they havent touched the cuttle fish. I was wondering if this was because its too hard for the little mouths. The top layer of cuttle bone is quite hard. Im gonna grate some off and try adding some to snail porriage. I thought this could be one way of making sure they get it. Id imagine the amount of calcium such a small snail would need is minimal. The baby dimidiata really go for the cuttle fish. They may have trebbled in size. They are doing really well and will eat anything!
linda a daz, they need ur calcium enriched snail treats! ;D

Paul have you got 90 of the little buggers..phew it took a while to find 12 blondies out of our tank last night to change the peat and give the big ones a bath..oohh I found a good way to bath the little ones we put all 12 in a tupperware box and they all went and climbed up to the top..walahhh remove lid and gently run under warm tap for removal of peat and poop dead simple and they loved it..LOL..I have some pics of Gals and grandchild I will get Daz to put them up..Linda

Emma, I have seen them grinding cuttlefish but I have been crushing it and putting it around the tank, even mixing some up with the soil. They seem to be eating it coz I've noticed new shell growth on them. You can also powder it and mix with water to make a paste.
