Hi Emma, I put quantities which you said into a cup but then I wasn't quite sure how long to microwave it for......decided just a couple of seconds would be enough and it was quite thick!! Is this how yours is? I let it cool and then put a blob in front of them, 1 of them loved it the other one didn't want to know I wondered if it would be better a bit more runny. I know I keep on about this wretched porridge but I just think that this is such a good idea of yours and I want to get it right.

Hi Guys I have been all this about porridge and have never heaqrd anyone mention that see so i picked up a good tip popping on for a read todey ;D Shall be going off to try that this afternoon as i have a couple of fussy eaters

The best way to make porridge is just to add cold water to it, and give it time to swell. Mine won't touch it if it is made with hot water.
