All the blondies have now gone to their new homes..except the 2 that are ours and I feel a little sad I have fond memories of bathing them all 12 I put them in a tupperware container and all 12 climbed up on to the lid I flipped it over put a towel down in my sink in case any fell off and ran the tap gently over them to wash off the peat and stuff and gave their shells a tiny scrub with the toothbrush..awww they all stayed there and not one fell off and when I had done they looked so clean and the shells were perfect..I put them back in their tank and all 12 were scoffing a corn on the cob..6 on one side 6 on the other..classic..I had my eye on one of them it was the most lively and the markings were different to the others and when Daz packed them I wasnt feeling to well and fell asleep and yes my favorite has gone to a new home...im a bit sad I used to see it riding round on the backs of the big snails no one else does that..oohh well I hope they love him like I did the 2 we have left we have to dig them out of the substrate every day to feed them or they would sleep forever..LOL

Hi Linda, Here is another pic of the same snaily going slimeabout!! I have found that if you leave them in their tank they will just sleep the day away, I feel that they need more exercise than this so........every morning I put them on a plastic tray slanting towards the sink and spray them with warm water for about 1 minute, they love it, then I leave them in this tray - on the windowsill as it is often sunny there and they just slime about for the rest of the morning - often sliming up the windows, they are real comical to watch and I really think they enjoy the freedom. I then do the same with my little tiger snails!!
