Here's a few pics of the bubs I got in the mail about a month ago. They were sooooooooooooo tiny! I've been brainstorming re calcium, as I didn't have cuttlebone for the first couple of weeks, so I use the coral fingers I have on hand for the aquatics, in a dish, and moistened. I've also been using the dehydrated snail bikkies, rehydrated, and of course, fresh veg and fruits. They all seem to prefer half-rotted vegs rather then nice fresh ones. I put that down to the fact they are bubbies and need soft foods. And yes those are my fingers. This pic shows the difference between the babbies I got in the mail, and the growth of the ones that hatched the soonest. The one half hidden under the seashell dish is the average size I unpacked them at. I'm pretty certain that I got newly hatcheds, and some eggs

Awwww. A lot of mine -depending on what the food is- like to leave it for a day or two then start eating it. What did they make of the coral fingers? They're adorable ;D They need a margie baby to go with them though

Hey, I've got to take some more pics and get them uploaded. They've GROWN.....OMG I can't believe how fast these buggers grow!
I find that they really don't care one way or the other about where the Ca is coming from. I find them on the cuttlebone, and the coral fingers, about the same amount of time. Their food dishes are seashells, and they rasp on the dishes as well as what's in them, as well.
They really like the homemade snail biscuits that I make for the Applesnails, once the bikkies have sat in some water for a bit to reconstitute.
I've also got Ca powder in the spray bottle, so they're misted with a very mild dose of Calcium each time I mist their container.
I've also got to get that cracked 25g (3') tank out of storage, and get it set up. These bubs are growing like bad weeds!

Last night's pictures.....again with my hand as reference. I'm going to have to start using a tape measure for comparison, I think... And one on some strawberry slices. NOT a small berry, either!
