Hi i am new and in a week or so i am getting to beautiful giant african land snails ;D problems1. I need some cool names for them 2. How big does there tank have to e for two of them Hope you can help ;D

Elloee I'm New Toooo ;D Ive Just Been Given A Snail And It Was Called Dee Ive Kept It As That.. But I Made A List Of Names.. Heres A Few Hope It Gives You Some Ideas : -Boris (Hehee) -Speedy -Slimer -Miles -Momba -Frippet -Dave -Pudding -Oliver Heheeeh Bit Weird But Neffurrr Mind Theyre My Suggestions..!! My Tank Is 46cm By 30cm roughly, and thats got my only snail in... But this is just my opinion, however large you are willing to pay for and clean, ..!! Heheee they'll love it..!!! Good luck with the new''ens..!!

Hey Theyre Great Names..!! ;D Have you been picking them up by the bottom of their shells? You can find some good advice on google..! I did, the bottom of the shell is delicate as it is new, I htink it should beeee okay but still look itup if i were youu Byee

They are nocturnal, so you'll pretty much see them only during late evening or night. Are you supplying any source of calcium for them? If not, make a visit to your local petstore and pick up a cuttle bone (Would most likely be in the bird section)
BTW, Adorable names! My 2 still don't have names haah.

Hi, I'm new too. My daughter's snail has been happy for some time with us, but has recently started burying itself, gone off its food (favourite cucumber), and has some white goo coming out now and then. We make sure the tank is clean, sprayed regularly, has good compost, a heat mat and food is always available....I've also noticed that the new edge of the shell appears turned inwards? Does anyone know what's going on? Our local vet was unable to advise.
