Those look like nice silver angels. Tiny, but nice! 12 of them? ? Wow, that's a lotta angels, and a lotta tankspace when they get a little size on 'em. Good luck, they're wonderful fish to have. I never wanted angels either, but I've got a couple of dozen of them now, and they're some of my faves. Such great personalities!

We've got three angels in our 6ft tank, along with other community fish (and Zippy the rainbow cichlid), and they are by far the cheekiest fish in there ;D Two have paired off though, so I'm probably going to get another one (or three!).
Yours are lovely - I love silvers - mine are two gold marbles (or koi, unsure), and one gold.

Wow - 12?! I assume you're hoping for a couple to pair off and rehoming the rest? They're lovely I have 7 angels in my 6ft x 2ft x 2ft tank, and I would say that's my lot really in this tank space (with other fish taken into account). I think the recommended minimum space for an angel is 1ft of tank length (and at least 18" high) per angel. Some say 10g per angel, but smaller tanks don't tend to be tall enough for them.

Mine are all *very* aware of me, and what I'm doing, at all times. If they see the food tin come out, they go absolutely bonkers! I can hand-catch them too, they're that tame.

actually we do sell adults at the shop i work at and they go bonkers for food just as much as any other fish at the shop or in my tanks/pond ;D you should try hand catching the clown fish, yes we were able to do that at one point, but then we stopped as it got boring i've moved on to holding the lobsters so they pinch me lol but then i annoy most of the fish, especially the piranha ;D i used to scratch the picasso trigger (wub) on the head ;D it always tried to bite me as it saw my finger as food ;D it ignored the one on its head but went for the ones in the plam of my hand
