I'm thinking canas or haustrums. Even if they are Salton Sea snails, maculatas or paludosas they still eat plants and are not worth the money.
I feel sorry for anyone daft enough to pay money like that for snails that will eat their plants and perhaps might not live too long if they are fully grown.

I'd say Canas. And the 30 quid is for him/her to deliver. The actual cost of the snail is 5 pounds. Still highway robbery!

Thats ridiculous , lol ... maybe they are that big they can't go by royal mail ... their limit is 20kg .... you never know ... could have eaten a lot of plants LMAO.
Anyhow I don't think it is a Cana , we have some snails identical to that and we original thought Cana's but mmmm well they sure don't lay Cana eggs. They lay a similar size clutch to Cana's but they are creamy white and very soft ... a real game to get them off the tank with out making a bloody mess ... I dunno what they are .. may get round to finding out one day lol.
Cheers

The seller never answered my question. I went to check it today and saw the following message: The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale. If you check all their other auctions each "P&P" charge is £30...for a couple of plecs, fish etc. Yet they are delivering them to a meeting place that the buyer will have to drive to meet them at. I'm surprised eBay allows such things. Janet
