If you have brigs you can get around 40+ babies out of a single clutch....cana eggs have around 100 babies per clutch.
If you don't have the tank space the babies will die. You also need to keep the tank very clean with very regular water changes. Keeping the PH at 7.5ish will ensure the baby's shells grow well.
Some people break a small piece off a clutch and hatch that to avoid having too many babies. Fertile clutches take around 2 weeks to hatch.

Uhm, you don't need to take water out for them to have enough room, as they will lay egss ABOVE the water line (usually we leave about 1.5-2" of space above the water for them to lay eggs).
It's going to be hard to only get 2 babies, as the clutches are a solid mass of eggs. You can always raise the babies in a bucket/rubbermade/tupperware container, as long as you do lots of waterchanges every week.

Yo Kev
Congrats on witnessing your first brig noodle rinsing lol , now bare in mind that the female could have been mated before you got them from me .. they can store noodle juice for months. So in theory you could have allsorts in the first clutch if it's fertile ... purple striped , blue , ivory , gold , jade and anything inbetween ... so who knows .. could be a nice mixture if you are lucky.
As for selling them , yes you could do but for them to be a safe selling age you'll have to nurture them for around 3 months or so unless you know someone locally that will have some off you and is willing to raise them .... unlikely but not impossible.
Anyway Kev , keep us updated on progress bro.
