Is this the aquatic snail forum? I was referred by PetSnails. Hoping to find some other apple snail owners.

I keep brigs, a cana, mts and spixis and will soon be getting some marisas too.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I don't know the proper name for my snail, it's my first one, was told @ the pet store he was a gold snail. He(or she) looks exactly like the pic on the home page of apple snail.net. First I thought I was getting him for algea, but I'm becoming attached, named him Scoot because he moves pretty fast and all over the place, I am constantly at the aquarium watching him, I never knew snails were so fascinating. Hi Marcy, and welcome aboard! I'm not "close" to ya, but at least I'm on the same side of the pond!
I keep Brigs, Marisas, Spixis, Paludosa, Salton Seas, Canaliculatas, Insularums, Malaysian Trumpets, Planorbids, Limnaeads, and those little wee "clear" ramshorn types.

Welcome to our humble but comfy snailien community , sorry about my delay to welcome you but I have not been around much recently with one thing and another. Yes great to have you aboard , hope you enjoy your stay with us and congrats on getting addicted to snailiens .... it only gets stronger LOL!!
