Hi everyone
I'm Kathy and I live in West Yorkshire with my partner Baz, our 3 kids, bullmastiff Dharma, 2-3 cats (long story), 32 pet rats and 5 GALS.
My GALS are:
Keith - about a year old fulica Justin - the poorly dimidiata, clinging to life by the skin of his teeth Jethro - the albopicta/fulica/smithii cross Sherman - the margie ovum and baby Nigel - a margie poss. suturalis
Lovely to meet you ;D

HI Kathy and welcome, from someone who would be a criminal if I had even one GALS. Gorgeous creatures, and one day, I will have one or two or a dozen!
For now I content myself with fishies and many many many aquatic snailiens.

They're addictive that's for sure, friendly little beggars. Talking about fishies, I'm getting a new tank tonight - my first in years. Can't wait to stock it (have to wait and cycle it first though).

Ohh lucky you! I would love another tank (to add to the 3 I ready have and hubby's 1) but we haven't any room left lol. I love the whole preparation thing, choosing the substrate, plants, decor, filter, fish and/or snails. I have (in various tanks) apple snails (spixis, brigs and a cana), mts, a lone lymnea, a guppy, an Otto, 3 amano shrimp, a male bn plec, a school of pygmy corys and a partridge in a pear tree lol. Hubby has a pair of bn plecs, large school of neon tetras, a small school of glowlight tetras, a couple of guppies, a platy and 4 khuli loaches. I still haven't found a tank ornament I like....I keep buying them and then giving them to hubby. ;D I have a coconut cave in 2 of my tanks and a little bridge in the other. Janet

LOL you sound like me! I'm so excited now. I'm hoping to get baby american cichlids to pair off that grow to medium size in adulthood (nothing over 8-10") and already have a baby chocolate albino plec called Hannibal that is being babysat by my sister (LisaLQ). I also have a baby gibbiceps that will be staying with me until he grows a bit, then off to pastures new.
