Hey gang, got back from my Moms a while ago, and we spent the afternoon doing "dough" for the latest batch of snail cookies. Using her "old" food processor. Still took a long time, but it was WAY easier than using my cheapo blender. LOL there's kale, dandelion, dill, pumpkin, dicalP, spirulina powder, garlic, paprika, red bell pepper, carrots, the infamous "bag o seafood yuckies", a large can of salmon (including bones) in addition to the crushed milkbones and dogfood. There's enough dough to fill 1/2 a 5g pail. Took about 1.5 hours, start to finish. To make this much with my cheapie blender, hand mixer, etc would have taken twice as long The score, you ask? I got to take home the "old" Cuisinart, as she'd got a new one off eBay! w00t! Cuisinart DLC-7 Super Pro, with extra blades, all attachments, the instruction/cook book. Slight crack in the bowl, but doesn't affect the performance at all. She also got a new mixer, and I'll be bringing the "old" one home, with all attachments, for pasta making, etc. I think the old one is a KitchenAid. Gotta love it when my Mom upgrades her kitchen toys
