I won my tribuneral with a unanimous decision..I got my original award back so now I wait the back pay and I can smile again.. it was tough..I had a solicitor..a doctor and a lady on the panel who is a carer for her disabled hubby or Winkin Blinkin and Nod as a friend told me to think of them and it helped LOL.
It was a little hard and very upsetting at times as I had to show pics of my scarred body and as you girls know that's not the best thing in the world to have to do but I have a rare condition with no cure or even treatment so it is not reconised as a disability illness, but I think they changed their minds once they saw my pics..but it's one in the eye for Blaire and his pathetic little reforms to rob the disabled of their benefits and I can hold my hand up and say it has been the most stressful 6 months I have ever been through it's not about the money {although Daz would like me to add our telly is on the blink and it takes 10 mins to warm up when we put it on so I think he is after a new one LOL} it's my integrity and for those that have been following this the embaresment of it being brought up in the house of commons and on the radio and the shame of the press exployting my story to sell their papers and the way this has made me a recluse in my own home and living off next to nothing and not being able to buy prezzies for my grandchildrens birthdays and the social funtions we have had to miss out on as we did not feel we could sit there nursing a drink all night LOL.
We are going on holiday on Saturday and we still dont have a dime but I can walk on the beach breath the sea air and know that no one now thinks I am a lier and a cheat and thats worth more than any amount of cash in the pocket so yeah I know I am a drama queen LOL..but that is what this episode has been like to me and thank god the series has ended many thanks to my kind supportive friends and not forgetting my Daz who has been great and yesterday was more nervous than I was...Phe
