I can't be certain my trapdoor snails are eating. I drop algae pellets to the substrate of my coldwater aquarium, but the snails just lie there upside down with their operculums shut tight, and just seem to ignore them. There's no algae growing on the glass, but I do occasionally see one or more snails creeping up the glass, not sure what if anything they are eating there. I have two Dojos and some other bottom feeders that snap up everything that lands on the substrate before the snails even know it's there. I would like to hand feed my snails but removing them from the tank and feeding them in some water in my sink. How would I go about getting them to open their trapdoor so I can get food inside, and how would I get it into their mouths? I'm afraid if I don't do this, they will starve to death. northwesty Attachments:

Well, I guess I won't post here, anymore, if I can't get anyone to respond in close to a month!
This is ridiculous!
